On Tuesday December 27, 2011, I volunteered at the CJ Foundation for SIDS. The CJ Foundation is a national non-profit organization. The Foundation's main idea is to eliminate the tragedy of sudden unexpected infant and early childhood deaths. When I first arrived, I did not realize that all of this took place inside of a hospital. I went inside and called Lauren, who was an assistant for the organization. She was the kindest person I had ever met! I got lost trying to find the correct place inside the hospital and Lauren had to come find me! Once we were inside, I sat in an office where I placed letters in envelopes. I later went into Lauren's office and made booklets. I did not do much, and maybe it was not the most exciting job, but I really did enjoy it. I spent plenty of time with Lauren and learned that she had only been there for a few months. She said that sometimes it was very upsetting working there because sometimes parents would call devastated after losing a child! Before volunteering for this foundation, I had never heard of SIDS. I had a tremendous experience volunteering, and I can not wait to do it again.

What do I feel right now ?

right now im feeling pretty hungry and im glad i have lunch next !
i usually dont have anything for breakfast just because i take forever in the shower and then i get picked up to go to school, so i have to be ready as soon as i come out of the shower.
why dont i wake up earlier?
well thats really simple, ya see i wake up at 6:30 and my brother wakes up before me so he can take my little sister to school, so hes in the bathroom at like 6:00 and im not gonna wake up at 5:30 in the morning !!!!! thats crazy !!
But i guess this is best i can do and its really no problem since i have lunch first !!
well thats all that im feeling right now soo yeahhhh !! :0

My book letter/blog letter

For my book letter or blog if you will, im writing about the book that I read... Twilight. At the end of the book it was a bit like forshadowing. Victoria... one of the evil vampires did manage to escape, which leads me to believe that there is more to the story and she will be back again! It also surpirised me how in the last chapter, Bella was actually hoping that Edward would turn her into a vampire at the prom, which was something I always suspected she would want since they first fell in love.

There are many different changes in characters, especially one of the main characters Edward, hes the male lead. Basically Bella moves to her dads so her mother could travel with her husband (Bellas step dad) and she knows that shes been holding her mother back so she decides to go live with her dad. She almost gets in an accident at her new school where who shows up and saves her but... Edward, of cousre. But Bella doesn't understand why he keeps ignoring her after the accident. So from the beginning of the book and the end where Bella and Edward fall in love... id say edward changed a lot! Also i love how the book really comes to life when you see the movie... which I have and have watched atleast 8 times! In the movie Kristen Stewart plays Bella and Robert Pattinson plays edward. Both Robert and Kristen have acted before and Robert actually took on an evil persona in Harry Potter when he was younger!! I personally feel like people should read the book and then see the movie, this way they could see differences in both and once you start reading the first book, you really will want to read the other 3 books (which i have)! I definatley feel like the theme of this book is that love can conquer anything, and that includes evil vampires :). I think thats its amazing how the author Stephanie Meyer could write 4 amazing books like this. she has writen more books but I feel like these are her best... its kinda weird actually how a fantasy book about non blood sucking/ vegetarian vampires! This is an amazing website because we actually get to see what was in her head when she began writing the book. I learned that she didn't really sit down to write the book, she actually got her whole 13th chapter from a dream she had. isn't that amazing! Well my feelings about this book are probably like any other person who read it. IT'S AMAZING... AND YOU SHOULD READ IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIKE RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I was reading this article on the RECORD on line and stating that no issue is more important to Barak Obama than the war in Iraq! There were amny interesting topics in this article which also stated that a 50,000 man force would remain in Iraq beyond August 31, 2010. A decent end to the American/Iraq war is now within sigt! New Milford Lady Knights !

As some in my school may know, the girls basketball team made the championships, but unfortunatley, they didn't win the state championships. I just read an article about how even though they lost, they had smiles on their faces the whole game! which only proves how spirited New Milford is, cuz even though we lost, we had a good time trying to win!
I want to congradulate the girls basketball team and maybe well get'em next year.

The In-Crowd

Of cousre theres always the cool kids, and who wouldn't do anything to get into the in crowd, right?
well not me, of course there were always times when I would feel lonely and wondered what it would be like to be...cool. The problem was, that it happened too often, and I just couldn't deal with how concieted and ignorant some people were. I guess once I started growing up I realized that the less I tried to fit in, the better off I was. I have true friends. I have popular friends and then I have quiet friends who dont care about what people think of them, so i think im pretty lucky, im just a people person. id rather have lots of friends than be stuck in a group where all people do is just find ways to make themselves feel better by hurting others.
Well im in high school now and ive learned not to care about what others think about you.. you just need to learn how to care for yourself !
